Helping Fond des Blancs, Haiti
St. Boniface Haiti Foundation
Fond des Blancs, about 75 miles outside Port-Au-Prince, is the region in which a large portion of my immediate family resides. I am hoping to raise funds to help St. Boniface Haiti Foundation. I believe that investing in organizations like, St. Boniface, that have been Haiti before this disaster will help continuing the reconstruction of our devastated homeland. Please take a moment to read their mission.
Mission Statement
The primary mission of the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation is to provide health care to the poor of Haiti in the rural area of Fond des Blancs and the surrounding region. This is done through the St. Boniface Hospital, work retreats, and other projects. The secondary mission is to improve the quality of life in the Haitian community through educational programs and humanitarian aid. The final mission is to raise the awareness in the United States of the extreme poverty endured by the Haitian people.
